  1. Goal Progress KPI Card

A new KPI card type built around a single question: how close are we? Instead of a big number with the target off to the side, the Goal Progress card puts progress front and center — a clean ring (or bar) that fills as you approach your target, with the percentage as the headline and the goal value for context. Perfect for quota attainment, fundraising totals, project completion, SLA compliance, or any metric where "80% of the way there" tells the story better than the raw number does. Highlights: Ring or bar — pick the look that fits your dashboard. Smart targets — set a fixed goal, pull it from a report, or use a per-period target that moves with your date selection. Color that knows the difference — status thresholds turn green when you're winning, whether "winning" means going up (revenue) or down (churn, cost, defects). Overachievement handled properly — pass 100% and the ring shows you capped out while the headline still reports the real 130%. Fully themed — inherits your card styling, sizes cleanly from compact tiles to full-width panels.

  2. Easier Connections to Google and Microsoft 365 (DashboardFox Cloud Only)

Today, connecting DashboardFox to Google or Microsoft 365 requires a technical setup step: someone has to create and register a developer app inside your Google or Microsoft account before data can flow. We're removing that hurdle. DashboardFox Cloud will handle the connection for you — you'll simply sign in with your Google or Microsoft account (or paste in a key), approve access, and start pulling in your data. No developer setup, no IT ticket. We'll use this same one-click approach to add connections to other popular business apps over time.

  6. Allow dynamic values in the name of scheduled reports

Currently, you can set a static name for the attachment that goes out via scheduled email. It would be nice to have dynamic values such as a date to append to a file name such as, report20-12-09.pdf.

  7. Add number formatting to KPI goals

Right now number formatting only applies to the main KPI value and not the goal. Provide the ability to set the number format of the goal value in the KPI.

  8. Tighter integration with Microsoft Excel

Instead of having to export data from DashboardFox into Excel, it would be nice to have an Add-in which can directly connect and pull and refresh data into an Excel sheet. This could also apply to Google Sheets.

  11. Improved Error Messages

Currently many of the error messages that are returned when a report fails are errors provided directly from the database. This means that most of the messages are not extremely user friendly and don't provide easy to understand information on the issue with the report or how to solve it. This idea is to revamp the error reporting to provide more user friendly messages.

  12. Allow Guest Users To Have Default Data Security Policy

Currently the composer has full control of what report data can be shared as a Guest View or Public View Document. This feature is to include the Guest View or anonymous user as a reserved user type so that it can have Data Security policies attached. So regardless of what the Composer creates, the organization can set a policy on what data limits are.

  13. Allow ordering of Linked Documents

Currently, when you union multiple documents there is no way to set the order and the only way to do it is to delete and re-add the documents. Allow the ability to arrange the documents, so they display in the desired order.

  14. Allow more customization of the Filter/Prompt Date Ranges

Currently, the dropdown list you get when you select equal on a date provides a long list of date calculations, but it's not possible to add/remove/update them and not all are applicable to all organizations. Include a way to configure and organize those without assistance.
